OVERVIEW
CUDAS-Peer© was developed to tap into the wealth of data available from CUDAS© and combine it with the versatility and analytic reporting capabilities of the NEA Peer Group Program. The CUDAS-Peer© system allows you to create peer groups and peer average salaries, and has the added capability of creating peer reports for all of the data available on CUDAS©, such as institutional finances, enrollment and number of staff.
CUDAS-Peer© is designed to facilitate use of the U.S. Department of Education, National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System’s (IPEDS) data. Data that are pertinent to the issues faced by NEA affiliates are included in an easy-to-use package. The data are organized and accessible at the institutional level. Preformatted reports are available, as well as the ability to export any data into Excel or another spreadsheet program—you can then easily create custom reports, charts and graphs.
The peer group function enables you to compare data for your home institution to a group of similar institutions. CUDAS-Peer© can generate a peer group for you, or you can define your own.
Following are the types of data that are available on CUDAS-Peer© for each institution:
- Institutional characteristics and collective bargaining information.
- Trends in faculty salaries by rank, gender and contract length.
- Trend data reporting the number of faculty and percent that are female by contract length.
- Number of full- and part-time staff by employment category and race/ethnicity.
- Trends in institutional revenues, expenditures and endowment balance per full-time equivalent student, and at aggregated levels.
- Institutional enrollment by level and race.
- The institution’s top five programs and percent degrees awarded in those programs.
- Degrees awarded by program.
- Tuition and fees at, and dollar amount of grants awarded by, the institution.
